Little Shaggery Farm is a small unique family-owned and operated Motueka Business. There is me, Rozmeri, market stall seller, Mumma of 3 and a health vinegar lover. The other half Luke, the calm to my chaos, daddy, orchardist, tractor driver, and everything in-between. Cooper, a sharp eye for a ripe apple, Tillie a juice connoisseur. Baxter, a produce taste tester.
Our mission from the start was to make a fully certified organic vinegar that is healthy, great and tastes even better.
This vinegar is handcrafted, certified organic with the “Mother” raw and unfiltered, for the healthiest, tastiest, most sustainable vinegar.
Our philosophy: Simple and slow, created with time and care through the historical “Orleans” method. All the stages are done right here at the Farm. We grow the fruit, pick, sort, mill and press all of mother nature’s goodness. Fermented and then laid to rest for 12 months in our traditional oak barrels where the “Mother” does what nature intended. Aged in oak for 9 months and then a further 6-12 months for a fruit, oak, floral taste, and the vintage of harvest to boot!
